NAVALPROGETTI S.r.l., managed by its president Mr. Loris COK, is a Ship Design Company of naval architects, marine and industrial engineers and ship surveyors that has been operating since 1975.
Owing to its specific experience in the planning and development of various technical subjects concurring in building a ship, Navalprogetti has developed various new ship constructions and transformation designs in thirty years of collaboration with several Shipyards and Owners, including the Italian Shipyard FINCANTIERI and, in the offshore field, AGIP and SAIPEM.
With these Companies Navalprogetti has been having a solid cooperation for about 25 years.
Navalprogetti is also qualified in hydrodynamic and sea-keeping theoretical and experimental studies. The Krylov Shipbuilding Research Institute KSRI of S.Petersburg is the customary hydrodynamic basin where Navalprogetti tests its designs: numerous resistance, propulsion, propeller cavitation, seakeeping, maneuvering and ice navigation tests have been supervised and conducted by Team during the years.
Noise and vibration analysis and optimization are also fields of Navalprogetti specialization, including definition of the ship technical specification concerning vibration and noise, measurements on board, etc. Static finite element analysis and related structures optimization are also typical investigations usually carried out by Navalprogetti.

RAY SHIPPING LTD – PURE CAR CARRIER 4900 CARS
From the beginning of the 2006 to 2010 Navalprogetti carried out all design phases, shipyard survey included for a construction of a Pure Car Carrier with carrying capacity of 4900 cars. The vessel was designed for Ray Shipping Ltd and was built in Vanishing Shipyard in Vietnam.
